In the airport, the caveman sees the picture and is, yet again, reminded of how the world views him (as dumb and senseless)!. So even when he's trying to live out his daily life, he can't escape it!.
The song in the commercial, Royksopp "Remind Me" is playing and kinda gets that point across!. The lyrics to the part of the song that's playing are:

It's a running gag on discrimination and political correctedness!. Throughout all of these commercials, a smart caveman is getting angry and offended at everyone calling cavemen stupid!. The first commercial where an executive is filming a GEICO commercial saying "It's so easy, a caveman could do it" and the caveman cameraman getting angry and offended and walking off!. Then there's one where the caveman is in a psychiatrist's office and the psychiatrist is saying that he shouldn't take it so seriously and he says "Well, what if it said Its so easy a psychiatrist could do it" and the psychiatrist says that it wouldn't make sense and the caveman says "Why!? Because psychiatrists are smart!?"!. The one you refer to is after the one where GEICO is trying to placate the guy and apologize (they're all sitting at a restaurant and the guy says "I have no appetite") and the guy is walking down the airport and there it is again! So he's on the phone complaining and GEICO is on the other end of the phone denying that it's there and he says "well, I'm staring right at it!"Www@Enter-QA@Com
