Question: i dont care if its a really cheap gift or whatever as long as i can see my boyfriend has taken the time to go out and actually think about things i like

You really have to know a girl before you can answer this question. Is she a shopping person? Is she a shoes person? Does she like handbags? Does she like restaurants? Does she collect anything such as pewter or crystal? Is she a perfume person? Does she like video games or technology? Does she watch movies?

depends on the girl. Personally, I'd take books, movies and tickets to see the theater but I know some girls like chocolates and flowers. Just depends on the girl... I know that doesn't help you but if you take an interest in her and her life, you could easily figure out just what she wants.
I am NOT into flowers....they don't last! I'd rather my husband give me something that I can keep forever...it can be a hand written I love you, a card....anything. Also, I'd rather get a gift on just an "ordinary" day instead of a holiday/birthday when you kinda know you will be getting something.
I personally like jewelry, cards with messages from the heart and maybe a cute idea would be to make a 'coupon' that says like "Take you to the mall for a day" or "take you wherever you want to go for the day" just some ideas.

cds, gift cards, obviously flowers and jewelry, find out somethng the girl likes, what shes into. like if she likes a certain artist get her tickets to a concert or if she likes sports get her gear or game tickets. it honestly depends on the girl. pay attention to what she says she likes and think about a gift u can get based off what she said then shell feel like u care. basically dont get something generic.

It depends on the type of stuff she likes. A gift from a guy is special to a girl no matter what. If she likes chocolate get her chocolate and a pretty necklace or flowers and a card. It is whatever she likes.
