People allow their internal stress to spill outwards against others.
Some find pleasure in hurting others, maybe because they were not around with pleasant people while growing up and so this is the only way they know to fit in. But really if not for them, how would we know how good it is when we meet someone who is nice?
Because they are not happy with themselves, It gives them a sort of power to be mean to people.

It depends on whether they have a reason to be nasty, if someone, nicks you hubby or your wife well then id expect people to be nastuy but some people are nasty because they are sad misearble gits, and do it for thier own enjoyment

It is normally through jealousy or because the person has very low esteem and make themselves feel better by being nasty towards someone else.

I think people get so jealous that they just want to hurt them, and make them unhappy
Either intolerance for some reason, or no respect for others.
I am intolerant of people who pretend to be someone they are not and of people who are incompetent when they are supposed to be competent.
