You are referring to Kate Moss being a drug user, rather than the london look being that of a drug user (arent you??!)
Well, we have that advert here too, so they also want us Brits to have the London look!
When Kate Moss was in the papers for drug taking, they said how she would lose millions in advertising contracts. Well, that didnt quite happen! I think she lost about 2 contracts before gaining another 10 so really her career benefited from all the bad press.
I am staggered that these comanies still want to use her as a role model. But, by all accounts, she is off the drugs now, so good for her.
Having said all that, the Rimmell cosmetics are quite good, and reasonably priced.

I am a Londoner born in Kensington I have perfect white teeth and extremely good skin and I do not take drugs (apart from medication) please don't tar us all with the same brush as Kate Moss and the Amy Winehouses of this world.
