Funny story.... Went to see the movie on X-Mas day with my mom, husband, brother and his girl.... None of us knew what the movie was about.
So at the end of the movie, we were still somewhat trying to figure what we just watched. Sure wasn't a movie about X-mas. Haha.. But I absolutely love it ! I bought the movie when it came out. I've watched a few times since getting it. I love the way everything was put together. I like to watch it with the captions on so I can learn all the words.
I think it's one of my favorite musicals. A twisted one but composed so well. Not a very huge fan of Johnny Depp the person but the as an actor, he's is amazing.
This morning I woke up singing "Alms, alms.... for miserable woman......"

Saw it in theaters twice, want the movie, bought the soundtrack and sing along with it! lol. I like Worst Pies In London, A Little Priest, Johanna, and By The Sea. I didn't realize that Johnny and Helena could sing that well before Sweeny Todd.
