What do you prefer text messaging picture text or just talking on your cell?!

Texting if its just a "whatever" convo because I can respond whenever I please. But talking if its important.

talking on the phone, I hate testing plus it takes to long, it's just faster to talk
talking because on my phone, texting takes a long time... and because you can tell what tone they are using when you are talking to them =)
