I usually try to keep it all to myself. When you start saying mean things to people, it just makes things worse.

sometimes i do. i normally try to get out of the situation by walking away or hanging up the phone. but once my button is pushed its soo on and i cant shut up.

My mother was notorious for doing that, whether it was her friends or her children. I make every effort to talk calmly and rationally. If I don't feel like I can, I walk away. I tell my son sometimes, "Mama needs a timeout, *before* I do something wrong."
