Things have gotten so impersonal with the new texting possibilities. Face-to-face is my favorite type of communication. You can detect sarcasm, body language, and tone. There's no major confusion as to what is being expressed because they make it quite clear. Over the net and texting there's this shield, a sort of shell. And nobody can have an honest and empathetic conversation through these outlets. Though I prefer MSN to texting because they have emoticons, which can work well as a communication addative.

For talking with your best friends and stuff: face-to-face that way you don't have to explain what you're doing and how you're reacting.
For other people (like crushes): internet. It's much easier and saves you the embarrassment.

I prefer internet. Face to face is good too. I don't really like phones. The only person I talk to on the phone is my boyfriend.
