Have you ever met an old crush later in life and thought "thank God he/she !
Question: This is the one reason to go to high school reunions.
Answers: This is the one reason to go to high school reunions.
Yes! I also thought, "What in the hell was I thinking?"
YUP.
No , but It made me wish some had turned me down so they would not have hopes of getting with me again when I saw them , to have them tell everyone they met " hey there's so and so". I f"d him is not a good thing : )
I am sorry you got turned down.
No, although I feel confident that there are some that may think that about me. That is the one reason to "not" go to high school reunions.
Then again, I never turned anyone down.
...wait, no one ever asked me out.
...wait, I never asked anyone out.
...wait, where's my razor blade. Thanks for the question.
Au contraire! There is NO reason to attend high school reunions. Why revisit a mere 3-4 years of your life?
Anyhooo, I ran into my first high school boyfriend about seven years ago. Back then [1978-79] he looked a lot like John Ritter on "Three's Company" -- very handsome, and I was heartbroken when he broke up with me because he wanted to "try being straight again" [oy vey]. When I ran into him back around 2001, he had lost a lot of his looks, and his personality wasn't nearly as charming as it had been.
And by the way, he evidently failed yet again at being a heterosexual, because he'd had a partner for about 18 years and they had an adopted daughter. Ho hum . . .
LOL -- that's exactly what I thought at the 20th last August!
My goodness, it's so funny you should ask! I had a boyfriend in high school, (my sophomore year) that broke up with me after 3 weeks because I didn't have sex with him. Can I just tell you that the summer before our senior year he tested positive for HIV?
I'm not happy that he got sick, not at all... I just hope there were enough other girls out there who thought they would be better off without him as well.
