Yes I prefer that people pick best answer because when it goes to voting people who just want the points vote for the first answer without even reading it!

People are stupid. But Voting is easy points. If I answer a question though I expect the person who asked it to pick Best Answer.... Mainly ME!! So come on Give me 10 pts.
True, but sometimes it's easy to forget to pick an answer if the situation already went by when voting time came around or something.
Sometimes I do that when I cant decide which one I like more. All it is is letting everyone else decide which one is better. I don't mind it too much.
Only when they say "10 points for best answer!".
I don't care if I get the best answer, but think they should be honest if they're going to say it at all.
I answer those questions if I find them interesting, but swear that that phrase "10 points for best" is the same as someone on COPS saying "I swear to God!" - instant flag as a liar.

The bank won't accept Y!A points for my mortgage payment and the grocery store won't take them either, so they are basically useless.
It's a good feeling when you find out you've helped somebody out, but this place is mostly just for killing time.

i know thats irritating, ive only done it a couple times and that was ONLY because i completely forgot i had ever asked a question, and then i felt bad when i realized, lol.

I don't hate it but it does annoy me sometimes... however I gotten several really really good answers to a question of mine and I have at times had to take days before I could choose a best answer... I will pick one though and do my very best not to allow it to go over to voting...
Maybe some people just have such a hard time picking because there is more than one best answer and they can't give it to more than one so they decide to let the community pick...
