Spam and potatoes.

Brussel sprouts

i never had foods that i was forced to eat [:

scalloped potatoes

Goulash, a mess of meat pieces, tomato chunks and bloated macaroni. Do not like it to this day.

Even though we grew up poor, we never were forced to eat anything we didn't like.
If our meal consisted of something we didn't like, we either chewed & swallowed quickly or we traded with someone. Otherwise, we left the table hungry.
My dad hated okra and I hated speckled butter beans and pinto beans, we just picked them out of our soup and traded.
Younger sisters hated spinach, I hated corn; we traded.
The boys liked everything, except bologna. I thought that was the reason we never had it; found out years later, we didn't have any packaged lunch meat, because we couldn't afford it!!
As an adult, I have never bought, cooked or eaten speckled butter beans or pinto beans.
