Answers: Why do they do that? It is really annoying when they run aound and cry throughout the whole thing. WTF?

- ermmm.... excuse me, could you stop your baby from making so much noise please...?
I would be ever so grateful =)

- WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

- excuse me... the baby, make it be quiet, please =/

I like babies when they're not in cinema's though =D.
Dont be offended by my language its just the only way i can demonstrate how aggravating it truly is to have a baby crying in a cinema.

- WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

- Tell that f***ing RAT to shut the f*** up! or im gonna throw that mothaf***a out the f***ing door!

(everyone in the audience starts going on about how im such an a**hole for getting angry)

- WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

now im sitting there taking s*** from everyone, i cant hear the movie, the audience is shouting, the baby is crying.

honestly I'm done with cinema's thank god for the internet.

It's infuriating.

i think its ok but only when the babies cry they hav to take them outside
;D

Another reason to allow weapons into movie theaters !!!

its sooo annoying! but i can understand if it's like a little kids movie

it's stupid and inconsiderate.

That's why I stay at home and watch things on the satellite. No screaming kids, no $10 admission, and no $5.00 for popcorn!

Inconsiderate at the very least. How would they like it if I brought my dog along.

i always think tht they should get a babysitter or not come at all

It's really distracting and I don't agree with it. Some people are just inconsiderate and don't realize how bothersome their babies can be to other people.

The kid shouldn't be there if he isn't going to watch it.

they do it because they couldn't find or afford a babysitter, im assuming.
its annoying, and inconsiderate to others. and its not great for the baby, either, its too loud

that is not a a place for babies to be, they should get a babysitter

It is stupidity. Why bring your child/baby to a place where they will most likely misbehave?? Please don't go without a babysitter.

UGH it drives me nut!
I'm stare at them angrily and shake my fists at them...
if I wanted to hear a baby cry I'd go home where I can hear my brother doing that.
:(
dumbas*es

Yeah, that's stupid as hell, unless it's a kiddie movie or sumthin...

If the child/children are well mannered, I do not mind. However, in the opposite case(s), I believe the ownest is on the parent to remove the disruption (by the standards of those being disturbed, not the parents) so others can enjoy their experience.

As long as they're quiet, I don't have a problem with it... I only have a problem when they bring children into R rated movies and things... Stuff that they shouldn't be seeing.

i think its great! i can get sweets and stuff

It's fine...It's hard living your life the way it was before you had a child...when you actually have one.....So I understand that sometimes you have to bring them with you....But most people are respectful enough to take them out into the lobby if they start crying or getting to loud.....But I agree that sometimes it is a bit annoying, if it gets out of hand.

Hi :)

I think it's selfish....some of us pay for a sitter so we can have a quiet time out and then we're subjected to someone else's 'Bawling'Baby" ...they should stick to the theaters that have "kiddy sessions" then they can squawk till their hearts content!

Parents with young children need to entertain them selves like everyone else. Childcare/ Babysitting may not be an option for them (for what ever reason).
Maybe the big cinema complexes can come up with an on-site baby care service (I'm not talking about freebies here). So the parents and the rest of us can peacefully watch the movie while the children are well cared for.

As long as they keep the baby quiet it's fine,by feeding the baby or put the baby to sleep.I don't care, but if the mom or dad is talking to the baby, and the baby is screeming,i fully agree they should have to leave,i mean gezz it cost a lot a money now a days to try and watch a movie with a baby screaming.

hate it...it's an unsafe bet 'my baby might cry, might not.' yah shouldnt take that risk..for our sake PLEASE!

I think it's bad!!!!!!!!
You hear crying and crying until you get a headache.

The only reason I can think of them doing it is cause they have NO ONE to watch the kid and REALLY wanna watch the movie in theaters...

Or they THOUGHT the kid would do fine, but acted up
=]

That happened while I was watching a movie and the mom had to keep taking him outside and slamming him into the seat and doing HARSH whispers to him!

She treid but it was a little distracting!

I blame the theatres instead of the parents, since theatres could keep customers a lot happier simply by adding a glassed-in sound-proof room for parents with infants....just like old movie theatres once did.

So complain to the corporations who own the theatres, not to the people with crying children.

My bf and I have 5 children 5 yrs. and under. We take them to the movies quite a bit. There has never been a problem. I guess it would be annoying if they were running around and crying but not all children act like that. I don't see a problem taking our children to see a movie they would enjoy. It's exiting to them to see it on such a big t.v.

it depends on the age of the child/baby.. if the parent/s plan on bringing along their child it is totally their responsibility to keep them quiet and behaved i wouldnt mind it at a driveinn cuz its not the same, on the other hand inside the theatre a time like that should be shared between adults like a date and a night out away from the kids not taking them with them. some ppl do it cuz they dnt half to pay for children under the age of 2 so then there isnt a need for a sitter i also find it bizzare when i see ppl w their 4+yrsup in a rated r movie with nudity and violence n kids eyes glude to the screen noone will understand each n every parent motives on y they do the things they do

Really don't like it.

I like them to bring babies to the movie theatres. That way the hot butter for frying them into snack food is right there. just kidding, i hate it too.
