Are Points Really That Big A Deal?!
Question: I like getting points and don't want to lose them when I receive a violation because someone has a burr up their you know what! Is the point system important to you or just something that is a by product of Y/A that really isn't necessary?

This won't sound politically correct, but I think that points are important here, I would lose some interest if the points system didn't exist. I guess I'm just competitive. Let's be honest, without points, would anybody know who Judas Rabbi is? I doubt it.
Well, i'd say they are.
Otherwise, we'd all have that rubbish 10-20 Answers per day limit ;)
I like points they are fun to gain, otherwise I would have no motivation to come on here.
Well to me points = freedom. The more points you have the higher level you are, which means the more you can ask answer. Like now, I'm level six. I can now ask and answer as much as l like, no limits.
So I'd be irritated if my points were all lost because then I'd be back at level one, answering only 20 questions a day.
Maybe initially. Once you reach level 3 you can answer more and the points to absorb asking questions.
