I'm not adopted, but I never met my dad, and know very little of his side of the family. All I know is that he has over 6 kids and he was one of 5 kids himself. So I am fairly concerned about accidentally dating a relative.
Nope -- I've met them -- I can't imagine dating anyone like the poeple who show up at the family reunion. (I'm sure they're thinking the same thing about me.)
My ex-boyfriend used to joke that we probably had the same father. We had the same color hair, and similar enough features that we were sometimes asked if we were siblings! I don't think so, but it was kind of disturbing to think about!
