I think it's just part of life as we all have at one time usually encountered fair weathered friends. I am fortunate to have most of that all behind me now. They want you to help them when the chips are down, but let you down when you need them the most.

yes and theres more around than you think, they are your best friend when they need something from you but when you got a problem they run a mile and cant be seen for dust..people like that annoy me
All my friends except for 2 are "fair-weather friends".
Most of them only want to see me when it's time for fun or they need something.
Funny how they are all "too busy" when I need something.
That's why I appreciate my 2 "real" friends so much!

Yes & that me realize that that so called friend really wasn't a true friend. So it changed my perspective of them, I realized they couldn't be counted on. A true friend will stick by you no matter what!!!!
