Maybe they did it in error, have you ever been suspended? maybe they were trying to eliminate the old account and eliminated the current one in error...or...if they're fun loving jokesters maybe they're just playing and blocking and unblocking to get your attention.

I just got a message. My assumption was wrong. Sometimes people have to block everyone to protect the account against getting removed due to trolls. I guess if they have time to tell everyone they should but also we should not jump to conclusions .

And I will say that it would bother me as well. Anyone I have a contact I consider a friend. Granted, I had to shut down my fan list last week, thanks to the bloody pathetic trolls..but as I find each contact..I try to let them know why I might have vanished from their list. But to just block a friend without even saying why..

I had a contact that asked a very unfair question about me and it really made me mad to say the least. I blocked her. I even answered tons and tons of questions never to get any points. She said she e mailed but lied, she never once mentioned to me that my answers were making her mad. I've never deliberately tried to hurt anyone on here. I e mailed and let her know why I blocked her and then she turned around and said I called her a name and she blocked me. I just figure the contact has some sort of mental issues, who knows.
Hmm strange that's never happened to me before yea I would like an explanation if something like that were to happen to me, but try not think too much into cause you have plently of contacts (me) that do care about you k?!
I've actually done that by mistake a couple of times after losing and account you should speak to them about it they probably went overboard without meaning any harm or ill intentions maybe : )
yes, I have been on the receiving end of this as well....
one of my, at the time, favorite contacts decided to block me outright and gave NO explanation at all...
yes, I was a upset about it..but I guess they had their reasons..
I just blocked back and went on...
then ANOTHER fav. blocked me because of them..I e-mailed her to ask if i had offended her in some way..and she unblocked me......it all just sucked.
I have since unblocked the first one, I am sure I am still blocked, I have not even checked, but it is all just so silly to me I decided to just let it go...
all of this crap makes it not as much fun, hence the reason I have been out of here for awhile. too much drama in what is supposed to be a place to have a good time, laugh, and hopefully make Friends!!

Yes. I would want an explanation. I guess it's silly, but Y!A's like a second home, or rather a better home, lol. I don't ever try to offend anyone and I'm sooo not a troll, so being blocked would hurt my little feelings!!
Yes, I agree, common courtesy would seem to require it but, as you know, courtesy isn't that common anymore.
