I don't think we have enough info to judge. what do you mean by an on line relationship. is it limited to text or are they doing kinky stuff with web cams? If it is limited to text I really don't see it being a serious thing. texting is like imagination. if there are actual pictures, videos etc being exchanged the situation gets to be a little more serious but there's always the flip side would you consider your husband or wife cheating by watching porn? Have they ever actually seen each other? I repeat we need more details to give an accurate non judge mental opinion.
The fact that one of my friends flirts with my hubby and actually knows him in flesh is a little disturbing, the fact that he cut it short proves that he felt threatened and ended all communication... I really don't think I would call her a friend.
