its called conscience......its the ability to know whats right and wrong...
I believe that, when you want to reach something, you get it, no matter what. You can get a very strong will, a will that will stand infront of the whole community. Just belive in what you want, search for your tools and start right away, don't ask anyones help, you're they only one can make it alone. Good luck.
Aside from our memories, the genetic encoding carried in our cells, more sober self assessments and sub-conscious anxieties/neuroses?
1. Jungian analysis proposes a link to the collective subconscious... an evolving continuum of all human experience.
2. Some exponents of Quantum theory propose a 'wave harmonic' interface between all matter/energy at the subatomic level; through which all matter/energy constantly exchanges data through wave harmonic frequencies. In theory nothing will be lost from the universe, ever, because the universe itself is a memory/data backup system.
Sounds cookie but the theories are gaining support.
So, maybe subconsciously or at a more profound energetic level.
