Of course. Thought will always contain unfamiliar territory... No one on the planet has ever thought all the thoughts there are to think... There's always new ideas/concepts/things to think about... Better to get lost in unfamiliar territory than to not travel at all.
YES!! If im somewere thats a whole new atmosphere,and everything is different to me. My mind gets cuaght up and involved into where im at, and i can't even think straight. Im like not even focused right. But thats usually when im uncomfortable or is reall nervous/tensed!!

Sure is! When I get lost in my thoughts, I couldn't tell you what the thoughts were, to save my live. My mother used to call it " wool gethering." I don't get that connection, either. ;-)

That is an excellent question! Sometimes I do get lost in thoughts that are generated by unfamiliar situations or problems. I think that the way to handle such situations is to look at them in a different light. For example, I learned to regard problems as opportunities in unattractive packages.
No. After awhile I become familiar with the territory & am able to charter my course to happiness & joy.
