Is the real parent the birth parent or the adoptive parent?!

If the child was adopted as an infant, the adoptive parent will be the "real" parent since they are raising the child.

I was adopted at 3 days old. My mom and dad are the people who raised me. I am very grateful to my biological parents for having me and giving me to two wonderful people who are the best parents anyone could ask for.

Then again, giving up a child must be the bravest, most heartbreaking thing anyone can ever do, to actually give away something you love so much because you know its best for them, it takes guts.
