Not at-all. Many are yes- but that is no reason to generalise because that only shows that you are being close minded. Sorry.
No because they are just starting to learn and explore things out in the world....they need to question things to learn. I think teens are self-centered at times with their new explorations but not close-minded. Have we forgot what our parents, teachers and other elders put up with when we thought we knew everything?!? I have raised one teen who is now 33 and am raising his sister who is 14. Yes, she is a great kid but needs to be gently reminded that I am the boss, applesauce and not her. When she thinks I should jump because she said so, I just park it and let her figure out what went wrong.
