that is sooo messed up. but you see they were a special class with ADHD and things like that. i think most kids like that are just looking for some attention. my son's friend has ADHD and when he comes and stays with me he is a perfect angel. i hope the ones who were in on it got expelled. that is totally crazy!!!

The news yesterday, bothered me again. What is happening to our kids these days? Is it the lack of discipline and love from their family and society ?

I was absolutely horrified when I read that article! I can't believe that in Georgia the state can't do anything to those little monsters because they aren't 13 yet. They knew what they were doing was wrong or they wouldn't have had someone "assigned" to cover the windows so that no one outside could see or another "assigned" for "cleaning up after."
It is a scary world when 3rd graders are plotting such horrific things because one got in trouble for standing on a chair. As a substitute teacher it absolutely terrifies me that such things go on in minds so young.
I have no idea what I would do, I guess I would try to petition Family Court or something to have those kids sent to a mental hospital or boot camp or something. I can't imagine what horrors they will think up between now and when they reach the age they can legally be prosecuted in Georgia...

Sorry, I thought you were kidding. I just read about this now. In every society there will always be aberrations to the norm. There is something wrong with these children, but what do you expect from a country that glorifies violence, and I don't mean just the entertainment media.
