I saw that "Dora the Explorer" is on the Spanish language channel the !

Question: I didn't have time to watch it, but I did wonder if she lapses into English like she does with Spanish on the English language version?
For instance, does she call agua "water" on the Spanish channel?

Sounds like we have a bit of a double standard here! My granddaughters love this show.

Um, no.

That's a good question, although I doubt it. Why would they dub something if they don't have to?

No she sticks to Spanish..I have a 2 year old that watches it both in English and Spanish.

no

Lol, I don't know I haven't seen it on the Spanish channel.

Maybe the lapses are intentional, to help children learn another language

this must be some show in the Us, no. Que. Jeg have ikke seen it mucha.
I don't think it works or is funny the other way around, it would be seen as affected.
Here is Scandinavia they occasionally think it is ok to take a Swedish actor stick him/her in a danish film ans have them speaking their native toungue. Believing that we will be able to understand. which we don't. Or a Norwegian for that matter. No it doesn't work. I know it wasn't about yous tv show but anyway....

I think it should be that way to teach English to Spanish speaking ....
that would make more sence to me j

I have no idea
