How has life experience impacted your life?!

I had an ok upbringing and ruined it all with a stupid choice...then many more stupid choices after. I have no one to blame but myself, and I have dreams that probably wont ever happen...so my life experience was of my own making and it has made it a very hard life to live
Death of a parent. You never really know how important they are in your life until they're no longer there.
I'm a pessimist now i always look for the worst
I remember when I was in my middle to late teens that nothing would seem to go right. I let life pass me by because I was too busy doing homework. When I turned 19, great things started happening to me and I began believing in myself. I know what it's like to be down in the dumps, so I vowed to live every day to the fullest. What that's done for me is given me chances to make new friends, meet new people, and leave a not so great past behind. The one thing that I always remember is that it's not important who we were. It only matters who we are.
