The April Fool's joke my sister told our mom- LOL or LAME?!

My sis, who is 27, told our mom that 2 months ago, she got drunk 1 night at a party and had an orgy with 3 guys- she said that 1 was asian, 1 was white and 1 was black. and she also found out she is pregnant with triplets and the doc said they are fraternal. so my sis is crying and telling her she could have an international mix of babies with different fathers.....after a VERY long silence and a mad glare, mom looks at her and yells, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME!!!!"
for 30 seconds she bought it. i think it was a bit over the edge but very creative. whats your take?

I think in a way it's kind of funny.
I also think it was a cruel joke to play on ones mother. But then I don't know anything about her sense of humor and/or how she treated you growing up.
What worries me more is that she was more concerned for herself ("What are you doing to me!"), rather than concerned for her daughter, or the grandchildren (even if they did turn out to be fictitious). That just strikes me as pathetic.
