Question: If you did something as either a child or adult and got in trouble for it would you take a spanking instead of other consequences. Yes. I prefer to be punished physically. it doesn't hurt as much. It's only me getting hurt. I would rather be "spanked" with an object instead of a fist or hand. makes it less personal. hurts more. I'm all for the "you screw up, Cat-o-Nine-Tails lays her claws into you, you remember it and don't screw up again" policy.

Unfortunately I didn't have the options you're talking about.
I usually got a spanking with a belt, then I got my mouth washed out with soap and then I had to stand in the corner for an hour.
Then when my dad got home, I had to go through it all over again! Though when he did spanked me it was 10X worse than what my mother did.
No way!! Spanking is still hitting another person and that is wrong no matter what the reason. I have had way too many beatings in my life to take another for any reason.
