Split. Strawberry shortcake has mingling flavors that always run together. Splits, while still having mingling flavors, blend in a way that is not too sweet but still exceedingly tasty.

Banana Split. When I was a kid, my parents used to take my sister and I out for Banana Splits to celebrate advancing from grade to grade in school. Even now, Banana Splits bring back such warm memories of childhood.
Banana split with hot fudge and nuts... there are so many more options for toppings and good sugary stuff! Strawberry shortcake is great, but I tend to pick the ice cream 90% of the time!

Oh MmMmM that's a hard one.....I've always LOVED strawberry shortcake and I've only had a banana split like, once or, never actually! It sounds yum though...strawberry shortcake. I love pound cake, plus sweet strawberries and whipped cream...it's just delish.

Hmmm, the banana split is the better snack, especially mid-day in the middle of summer, after mowing or gardening all morning, abut the shortcake is the better dessert. A banana split would be too sweet after enjoying a nice juicy steak, baked potato, and summer salad. On the other hand, shortcake can be a bit dry at times, especially if your all hot and sticky, with sweat glistening on reddened checks and brow. Still, you didn't stipulate when we would be having this treat, so I am going to assume it is for dessert, and go with the Strawberry Shortcake.
