Why do i always feel it necessary to apologise even when i'm not in the wron!
Question: For some it's in nature to do so. It doesn't hurt to do so. Maybe it's really apologizing to someone because you are sorry they feel you were in the wrong. ~~Peace~~

maybe you have the good sense to know that it's better just to move on and get over it, and that a lot of other people just "need" to feel right.

I have the same problem!! so I can't help you explain it! I apologise if someone bumps into ME at the store! I apologise if I correct a co-worker even when they clearly needed corrected! maybe I am just a whimp
I have been like that for years but i know why i apologise even when it's not my fault and that is because of me ex and for what he used to do and treat me so now i am always apologising for everything and to/for everyone. You are not alone in this department. Hugs.?
It is a problem we women have, myself included, always apologizing. I am conscious of how I use it. I teach my daughter to only apologize when she had done something wrong. Just to toss apologies around degrades the meaning of a true apology. I teach this to my boys as well.
