Someone tell me what she has done to win 5 grammy awards and have this following of people who like her? I'm not really a hater (I listen to just about anything from rock, blues, some country, heavy metal, funk, newage, soul, lounge and basically anything you can think of) but the state of music in this decade has just gone downhill and I for one just had to say something. This is not a rant. It's a legitimate question. Tell me how you feel.

i personally like her music, all the other media attention blows but her music is great, funky, soulful, I think it is different from all the crap out now, I am down with something different than the same old boring vocals...
But hey you like what you like and I understand your hatred because I to am a hater, Avril Lavgine blows, and I cannot believe she is still putting out songs...

okay if you look at her as an artist thats one thing but on a personal level thats another she is no hero
but for some its hard to seperate the two
the music is such a combo it caters to almost every style of music
she won the grammy so she cant be that bad if shes in that demand
