Your views on London hosting the olympics?!
Question: its going to be a disaster,its costing 4 times what they originally planned plus money is being sucked out of school projects,hospitals,lotto money for good causes etc to pay for it,and loads of more needy things.its just an ego boost for the British government.

and it's probably cleaner than Beijing too

they already hosted in anyways so i don't care...i want South Africa to host it...or Dubai
Hate it. My children and grandchildren will still be paying for it decades down the line... its a waste of money and our government start of saying "yeah mate, a couple of million maybe" then it goes to 9 billion, then 15 billion, and now God only knows where the figure is. We're just bending over backwards for everyone else, and its not like this country is very good at anything either!
And I'm still not used to the olympics logo, it still looks dodgy to me, I can't get that image out of my head! (you know the bj one!)
i wuld rather the money be spent on more worthy causes eg, the nhs and education.

It will cost a fortune and take years to re-coup the money --- you only have to look at L.A when they hosted the Olympics
fantastic to host something so inspirational however, not enough money has been spent on training our hopefuls so far.
Hope Gordon does something about this.

The Underground is marvellous , everyone loves the congestion charges.......what could possibly go wrong ; )
