they say that a guardian angel is an angel who is always next to you and protects you from everything
an imaginary friend
some one who makes sure you dont get hurt. ( person or angel)

In Matthew 18:10, Jesus says: "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven." (New International Version). This is often understood to mean that children are protected by guardian angels.
In Acts 12:12-15 there is another allusion to the belief that a specific angel is assigned to protect each individual. After Peter had been escorted out of prison by an angel, he went to the home of 'Mary the mother of John, also called Mark'. The servant girl, Rhoda, recognized his voice and ran back to tell the group that Peter was there. However the group replied, "It must be his angel."(v.15).

When my hubby had a serious car accident a few years ago it was touch and go and I spent days in intensive care by his bedside and at times I thought I would lose him. One day I just had to go get some fresh air and I was in such a state wondering what was going to happen then I looked up and in the sky was the most beautiful rainbow. I dont know why or how, but at that moment I KNEW my husband was going to pull through. After that I felt so positive and didnt let any setbacks get me down. I believe that someone/thing had sent me a sign letting me know not to worry. I do believe that there is something watching out for us and we just have to read the signs. By the way my hubby pulled through and is fine now.
