I used to hate rock too and now I love it. I remember when I was little I used to love classical music and stuff like Enya. But now my taste has changed a lot and I like more rock and R&B. I also hated rap but now I like a few songs that are rap

i remember i was really into the bubbly pop songs (like the boy bands...Yuck!), but now i hate them and i prefer rock/punk more.
Sort of but only because it's evolved as music has.

Yes, when I was younger I loved pop music and only appreciated the nice sounding voices. However, now that I'm older, I can look past the hoarse voices and focus on the beauty of the lyrics. i believe that's true music.

Oh yeah me too. only listed to really lame "popy" songs. I didn't hate rock, I just wasn't that much of a fan then at what? 13 my love for rock and metal came back and only listed to really lame "popy" songs.
And I should thank my uncle cos it's because of him that I love rock \m/ He used(still does) to listen to Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Metallica.
Mine has grown more than changed. Still treasure music from way back, but also love other things I've been exposed to later...jazz, blues, classics.
Not really, because as a child I didnt really have a taste in music.
