Question: When you write a fantastic well structured answer, not too long, delay an essay for it, which differs obviously the answers question but does actually answer it, and the best answer is "Yeah".

Mildly irritating, but I got best answer for what I considered to be a c**p answer once. I was flummoxed. It takes all sorts.

yes its annoys me lol! like u spend ages on gettin geverything in ur answer correct then they choose sum1 who sed summin like "Yeh i agree" it really does annoy me lol.

Yes!!!! And you know what's worse? When you get several thumbs-up for your answer, and the one-word answer gets 0. AND THEY STILL GET THE BEST ANSWER.
Yeah it bothers me because it's like, you took all that time to answer the question and the person just gives an answer like Thanks

It annoys me, but I generally write it off to people awarding best answer to their friends.
Not much you can do about it, so why bother yourself, right?
not really. i dont expect my answers to be the best. i just answer for fun and stuff.
Consider this,If the Yahoo! community voted for a best answer then odds are they're gonna vote for the first answerer because they dont care who they vote for.They just want their points for voting.

I AGREE. IT'S PEOPLE WITH MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS TRYING TO GIVE THEMSELVES POINTS. WHICH IS PITIFUL. WITH THEM YOU GET NOTHING. AND PEOPLE WHO THINK THAT ITS A LEGITIMATE QUESTIONS PUT THERE HEART AND TIME INTO IT. IF READ ALL QUESTIONS I ANSWERED I HAVE GIVEN GREAT ADVICE.

haha, okay, point received. I try to take the time to offer at least a thoughtful answer. I think sometimes you can't actually say too much about certain questions, but answerers should at least be a little helpful. Especially if you have a two-part question (e.g. "Yes or no? Why or why not?") and the answerer just answers the first part to nab the 2 points when you're looking for a more informative answer. But that's just me =)
