You just click....you tend to think the same random thoughts, have both difference and similarities.. I think the older we become, our past experiences have shaped us so that when we meet that soul mate type, it's not all about lust etc...
I found my soul mate, perhaps not going to be life partners..but yeah, definitely found mine. And for that, I will settle for a lifelong friendship, the basis of everything.
When you see your unborn children in their eyes. I know that is from a song, but when I saw my soul mate for the first time, I litterally imagined what beautiful children we would make waaayyyy in the future.
I thought i found my soulmate until we got married and he cheated on me with a 19 year old. he was 44!
I have been with him for 16 years and still going strong that's how.
