How young can I start my kid doing chores, is 6 months acceptable?!
Question: At 6months mine were sleeping in the bottem drawers(newborns in the top) as they were moving around too much by then,so they didnt have far to fall,also at 6months they moved stuff off my coffee table onto the floor,so i could wipe the top.Also they helped empty cupboards,so i had to do a clean out.Also they ate toilet blue,then i knew it was time to put a new one in the toilet bowl.They always had their hands on the TV,just to let me know it was dusty.They helped feed the dogs by pouring the dog biscuits into the water bowl,killing 2 birds with the one stone,it looked like baby food,so they helped themselves for meals.The broom and the mops were favourites,especially when they just pulled the mop over from the bucket to clean,i just helped with the excess water,they also were good at recycling magazines and newspapers they shredded and tore them all the time :(.the list goes on LOL :)

Yep, as soon as they can move across the floor on their own.
i would start mine at 5 months, if you wait any longer they will be slackers
perfect age..they are still crawling..attach a wet cloth to their hands and a towel to their kness..walla..you own floor scrubber
I taught mie how to be very efficient draught excluders when they were only 3 months.
When they started crawling I found that if I fed them a mild curry the night before and let them crawl around the garden without their diaper........

At six months you have to start the motivating comments. "Mommy can't hold you, sweetie. She's too tired from sweeping." "I know you are hungry, dear, but I just mopped the kitchen and it needs to dry." After a while the kiddo will become so afraid that your doing chores will interfere with his or her needs that s/he'll be doing them for you.

Geeeeez... you gotta pistol whip them bratz right from the gate. Mamma's milk is more spendy than Jack Daniels, 500 hundred miles from nowhere. If they aint workin hard by 8 months give em to a pack of dingo's to raise em.
