What's the furthest distance you've ever travelled?!

Question: I live in the UK and have only ever been as far as Spain!

Answers: I live in the UK and have only ever been as far as Spain!

Well Ive been a tiny bit further - to morocco (which sounds far but actually just slightly past spain) - other than that though, yeah just there and spain afew times.

**edit** oh, and elflaeda is crazy, lol !

To the moon and back baby when ive seen stars.........

Depends on which way around the world you go but from Ohio to Japan was probably the farthest... err... maybe Ohio to Antarctica was... one of those ^^.

I've been round the World 3 times - I have family and friends in Oz and NZ.
One of my school reports said "Veronica should go far"!

UK to Singapore .... Couldn't tell you how many miles that is !!

I live in N Ireland and the furthest ive been is probably malta on honeymoon other than that its the same as you choc spain

from uk to cyprus :)

uk to bali

I live in Scotland and the furthest is California

London to Fiji, one of the remotest corners of the world....

don't think you can really go much further away than that!

I live in the UK and the farthest I've travelled is Brussels.

Furthest south; Buenos Aires, Argentina
Furthest north; Jyvaskyla in Finland
Furthest east; Chabarovsk in far eastern Siberia
Furthest west; Galapagos Islands.

Longest direct flight; London to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In my lifetime, I've travelled billions of miles. I've done 42 full heliocentric orbits .... circuits around the sun.

Now then, I've tried to google this to make it easier on myself but I can't so I'll see if I can work it out myself and please remember, I've just finished a nightshift and I'm shattered.

First of all, the easy bit ... the distance to the sun from Earth is 1 AU (Astronomical Unit) - or - approximately 93 million miles, so to get to t'other side of the sun must be at least double that, to get back to our starting point (one year) we have to double that again which according to my calculator is 372 million miles. Multiply that by 42 and you have 15 billion, 624 million miles. That is if we are going by the American standard that a billion is 1,000 million.

Anyway you look at it, it's quite a trek.
