Yes, my first name is Bailey... which at the time I was named was very uncommon.... I am 21.
My last name is German, and in America there are less than 100 people with my last name... its very unusual.

My dad named me after a famous french feminist philosopher, I always thought she was full of **** so told people my name was sam from about the age of 8, I changed it legally a few years ago and haven't looked back once.
It just didn't suit me.
Elaine isn't unusual but apparently, my surname is. Obviously, I'm not going to broadcast that and be tracked down by all kinds of weird people but my spelling of the name (there are similar spellings which are much more common) is quite rare and there's only a few hundred of us in the country. I've had to spell my name to strangers since I was five, it's now an automatic thing, I say my name and then spell it and they STILL get it wrong. I've even had people tell me it doesn't exist. I think it's a very easy name, but then, I would, wouldn't I?
