Please! Answer!?!
Question: i work at a college call center and he was asking me if i said to someone that they can fax a transcript which they can't and i thought about it and said "no i don't think so"
but now when i think over it again, i think i did, but i am not sure... i don't know... what should I do? I feel like i am not telling him the truth .. but i don't remember? :(

oh and i am scared what if i did say that, and the person who faxed it said my name and he was just asking .... and since i don't remember what if he ends of thinking of me as a lier

Just don't worry about it unless it becomes an issue. If he asks you about it and says that the person mentioned you by name and claims that you told them that they could, then tell him that you honestly don't remember telling them that... but that you apologize for the inconvenience if you did and that you will be more careful in the future. ? You won't solve anything by worrying about it though. Just try to stay positive. We all make mistakes.

I don't understand this at all.
first of all calm the he-double hockey stick down. Its not like you told the dude to go jump off a bridge or something. Its a lack of communication. Just chill. If you cannot remember even saying the exact words maybe you didn't. Take a few deep breaths and chill by the fax machine. Your boss more than likely will not even be all that upset, and if you did accidentally say what you did, then just say I had a momentary lapse, it will not happen again and move on.
The truth will set you free! Just tell them you have thought about it and you may have and that you won't do it again if you did that you just can't remember! It's not the end of the world! ?
