Why are processed peas processed and not grown?!
Question: After harvesting, they are dried. Then they are shipped to the processing plant (more cheaply as they weigh less). Then they are reconstituted with water, and mixed with green dye. Then they are put into cans and sold.
And then just to complete the process,

They have to be grown before they are processed. Leguumes

of course they are grown. they are just processed afterwards.. how , I don't know.. but maybe they are processed in the sense of size, or the freezing process etc.
same with milk.. when it says "pasteurised" it doesn't come out of the cow like that.hehe
