I thought I would look cute with Molly Ringwald's hair from Pretty in Pink. Yeah, not so much.
When I was in elementary school and I got a short shag. I looked like a boy and cried for days...lol.

I didn't have any money to get my hair cut at a salon, so I asked my Grandma (who's been cutting my hair all my life) to do it. And she cut it wayyyy too short.

When I was a kid my mum took me to a schizoprenic hairdresser who didn't always take her meds (i found out years later) She cut my fringe around the shape of my eyebrows and one side of my hair longer than the other! Pretty bad
When i was 20. First hairdresser made total tots of it, so 2nd tried to rescue it and i had a really short elfin style.
Sounds ok but in jeans and a t-shirt in the pub that night i got asked if i was a boy or girl?!!!
back when i actually got my hair cut at a family hair salon (never again!), the stupid stylist couldn't understand "point cut in the front" so she just cut straight across..... i looked like dumb and dumber for WEEKS.
then the first time my ex cut my hair, he admitted it was also his first time EVER cutting a guy's hair, so i ended up looking like a mid-sized bear had attempted to eat my scalp off...
Well it wasn't what I wanted. I told the stylist to give my long bangs so that I could have side bangs..well she cut them straight across my forehead. It was horrible. Needless to say I was pissed and had to wear my bangs back for a coule months.

When someone blow dried a hairbrush into my hair on CHRISTMAS DAY. I had to have the brush CUT out of my hair! I had to go straight to the hairdresser to get it sorted out!

Mom cut the sides pretty short but winglike and left the rest kinda long. I hated it. It was very ugly but that's okay. My fourth grade class was nice to me anyway. No one teased.
When I was a kid, my cousin told me that I should ask the barber for a crew cut, so I did. It was terrible.

I decided to dye my hair brown from blonde it went grey. So I bleached it and it all frazzled my hair was really long almost to my elbows. i Had to dye it brown which didn't do any thing to save it. then i had to have it all chopped off to just below my ears that was only last january. iT'S only just reaching my shoulders now!!
December 23, right before quiting time and the day before Christmas Eve.
I was getting a haircut from my long time hair stylist and shortly after she started, she casually mentioned she was just surprised by legal papers for a divorce from her husband of 23 years that afternoon by a Sheriff's deputy. She had no idea this was coming, she confessed.
So here I am, with my hair partially cut and she is shocked and devastated with this news, at Christmas time too. I felt the potential for a extremely bad hair cut coming up right then and there and I felt short of walking out of there (no other customers or stylists were there) I had no choice but to hope she did not butcher me.
Well, she used clippers on my entire head, no scissors, thank God. Still, the haircut did not look right to me, but it could have been my imagination. Who knows? I waited a month for it to grow out a bit and had it trimmed somewhere else this time.
I decided to trim my hair at the back with electric trimmers. I forgot to put the comb on and had this massive bald bit, there was nothing for it but to shave the lot off. Man, does that feel weird? Anyway, here I am on answers, woolly hat on (my head's freezing) dreading going anywhere hot 'cos I still won't take my hat off. I did this about 2 weeks ago and wear my hat everywhere I go, it's becoming part of me. It wouldn't matter so much if I was a guy but I'm not, I'm a 56 year old woman and look really stupid.

When I was 13 my mum had my fringe cut way too short - it was right above my eyebrows! I was at that age where I was embarassed by everything, and I was horrified when I left the hairdressers! I was having my haircut for a wedding which was even worse! I still cringe when I see the photos of me with that dreadful fringe!!
