MY DAD HAD MORE RELATIVES THAN MY MOM DID. I WAS CLOSE TO HER REAL MOM AND ADOPTED DAD, BUT ALL MY COUSINS ON HER SIDE LIVED IN ANOTHER STATE. MY DAD'S PEEPS LIVED IN SAME TOWN.

Definitely mother's side. My Dad's from New Jersey and we live in Louisiana. My moms from here, therefore, I am closer to those. I've only met my relatives on my Dad's side a couple of times.

Definitely my mom's side, since they live in the same city as I do, and my dad's side of the family lives in a completely different continent.
I'm far closer to my mother's side. She died when I was a teenager but her sister is like a second mother to me and my siblings, and I just think I get on better with her family than with my father's.
