no.

Sis... This must be a trick question or one of those lyric type Q's that Shauny only knows the answer to... But, I don't remember reading anything like that in the paper. *SIGH*

Let me explain this to you like my 7th grade english teacher explained it to me when we were reading Animal Farm. Animal Farm is an allegory of the Russian Revolution. There was a character named Squealer (he was a pig), and he represented all the newspapers. He would use all sorts of propaganda to lure the other animals into thinking that everything was getting better. He would lie and cheat and do things behind the other animals backs. Squealer can also be applied to the newspapers of today. The newspapers of today will make up statistics and lie and do all sorts of outrageous things just to make sure that people believe that things are, in fact, getting better. I, for one, do not believe that anything is getting better. I wouldn't trust everything that the newspaper says. Just look around you, and observe things. Then you will finally be able to answer this question for yourself.

"I have to admit it's getting better, getting better all the time....getting better since you've been mine...getting so much better all the time.." Beatles
