Unfortunately there are no limits for some people.The possession and to take out the freedom of the other doesn't mean love but insecurity and certainly egoism...
Possession means always that i am not sure of what i give you and you re my prisoner...
Definitely it brings the opposite and certainly at the end hatred...

Insecurity creates our need to possess. Once insecurities take over, love suffers and turns into need to possess, to get full control of the other person's personality and life....

The line you are looking for is in the illusion that you control your own reality, that you set the boundaries and that those boundaries are without change. Not true.
You can find the person with whom you can share every thing and never notice that any boundaries exist.
Now did you suddenly give up possession of your boundaries or did you suddenly realize that your boundaries and the other person's boundaries are in fact one and the same?
I think it is the latter.
Two people can find a mutual zone of comfort that makes then feel as one where as three people or more will shrink that zone of comfort to the point that it become a mere point of intersection, a shared ideal or desire.
So the limit you ar looking for is when both person love, trust and understand each other to the point that they no longer look for a wall between them.
