Question: This may sound like a strange question, but it feels like I have heard every ghost story there is. Does anyone have any good ghost stories? I'll give the best answer to the best story. Please, no stupid answers!

I heard about this ghost who was down the train tracks and it only came out at night but I only found out from some friends at school and I haven't seen the ghost the before. This was in a town I use to live in.
saw some dude with short blonde curly hair in our living room when we had our second appartment. it was weird. our 3rd place had a dark shadow person like thing i hated that one we moved 6 months later.
i know there are a lot of ghost stories in CHINESE, but it is kinda hard for me to translate them all or one of them in English, because those are just too long..
so sorry.
But i also love hearing ghost stories, too.
She lived deep in the forest in a tiny cottage
no one dared pass the cottage....for fear of the terrible things that an angry person could do to her neighbors.
Then the little girls in the village began to disappear, one by one. No one could find out where they had gone. Grief-stricken families searched the woods, the local buildings, and all the houses and barns, but there was no sign of the missing girls.
A few brave souls even went to Bloody Mary's home in the woods to see if the witch had taken the girls, but she denied any knowledge of the disappearances.
so they burned her anyway...
As she burned, Bloody Mary screamed a curse at the villagers. If anyone mentioned her name aloud before a mirror, she would send her spirit to revenge herself upon them for her terrible death. When she was dead, the villagers went to the house in the wood and found the unmarked graves of the little girls the evil witch had murdered. She had used their blood to make her young again.
this is a true story:
it happened around 12 years ago...i have esp (no joke), i started seeing ghosts, spirits etc..since i was 3, i dont ususally mind this ability but there are times when you cant control what you see...
the scariest was a time (when i was 12) i was invited by my friend for a sleepover...she actually lived in a very old house..at around 6pm i arrived i was welcomed by a very nice looking lady (around late 30s in age), she told me my friend was upstairs and will be right down in a minute. she gave me a snack and we chatted a bit. from the beginning i was felling weird but i just didnt mind it at all (i was the not used with my third eye)...then she said that she needs to go to the kitchen to do something..she just led mem to the living room and opened the tv for me...suddenly my friend came in and was shocked to see me already in the house..she told me she locked the door, since her parents still havent arrived and she went out to buy dinner...so we sat down together and i asked her if they have like a maid or if someone else was living with them..she said no..she told me a year ago her aunt was living with them but already died a couple of months ago due to high blood pressure. i asked her for their family album and i looked for the woman i saw earlier...i pointed the woman out and she told me how did i know that since i havent met her aunt..i just smiled and said i just guessed. i never told my friend since she might get too scared...after we watched tv, her parenst arrived...so we went to her room to have a movie marathon...then after a couple of hours we decided to got o sleep...before i closed my eyes, i saw her aunt peep into the room and smiled as she saw us already tucked in...i smiled back...and slowly she faded away.
i will never forget that encounter...i still see things till now but that one was unforgettable

One day I was in Gatlinburg Tennessee. It was a pretty decent day outside. My dad had heard of this reastraunt called the Greenbrier. He had been there once before and something happened to my mom that day. They were waiting for their seat and the lady was telling them that where they were standing was where this young lady had hung herself the day of her wedding. Right after she said that my mom felt a cold breeze then she felt this thing go right through her. To this day she does not know who or what it was. When i went there i was standing there with my brother looking out the window. We were the only ones in the room. My dad after we left told us while we were standing there he saw 4 shadows when there was only 2 of us in the room. To this day i dont know what it was but i was pretty excited to know that i could have been in a room with a spirit.
i can remember one my grandma told me about the house she lived in, that one night she came down stairs and saw alittle girl on the living room floor playing jacks, this floored my grandma, cause she knew this child was from another time and era by her clothes, so my grandma asked her name and asked what was she doing there, her name was joanna and she said she was looking for her parents they use to live there and they some how forgot to take her with them, the little girl was all of 8 yrs.old, so my grandma explained that her parents have passed over and was waiting for her too, and that she needed to go into the light with them, but to make a long story short, she did,nt here from little ann again, that story has been in our family for years. and i finally got to hear about the girl called little ann, when i was older.
I have a true ghost story:
Once I was with my family sleeping over at our grandpa's house. It was a very old, creepy house, and I didn't like being in my room upstairs by myself. I was just a little kid, and I couldn't fall asleep. Perhaps it was my imagination, perhaps not. I tried to sleep, to close my eyes tightly, but I felt a prescence, and I was too scared to move. I opened my eyes slowly and looked to the door. I looked away, and looked around the room, then a minute later looked back. I froze. In the doorway, I saw a figure. I was scared to death at first, then figured it was mom, because of the poofy hair (haha). I called to her, "Mom, mom!" over and over again, but the figure remained still. I was calling out frantically, but it did not move. The dark woman-like thing appeared to be staring at me, and I really did think it was a ghost. In fear I hid under my covers. I looked back two minutes later and she was still there! I eventually fell asleep and let the fear slip away. That was my ghost story, which I'll never really know the truth about.
my friend also saw a little girl when she woke up. she was about 7 and had really long black hair with blue eyes and really white face. sounds excapt like what happened in that story that sweetys gave you.
