For those in england: do you hate socialized healthcare?!
Question: I mean, you guys are forced to wait forever to see a dentist, and not a very good dentist (as we all know). Don't you wish that you could just pay and see a better dentist, and actually get to choose who you want to work on you? I just don't get it, so help me out here.
Although Amy Winehouse made me think a bit differently about socialized medicine, her dentist actually gave her a tooth! WOW!

To all the Americans out there. You have all been led to believe that us English have bad teeth. Not true.
Anyways, to answer you question. We dont have to wait ages to see a dentist, (well, we never used to) unfortunatley times have changed and there are alot more people in this country and therefore resources are now limited.
We also do have the option of seeing a private dentist, just like yourselves. But most of us working ppl pay our taxes and so we get the dental care that we have paid for.
