Ps Ok I was joking I only find lisping annoying.. because it IS something that can be helped the parent's shouldn't have been talking baby talk to their kids, and instead corrected their speech impediment.

I think its laziness.........if parents correct them at the early stage of talking it can totally be avoided.My god daughter and my nephew both had that problem,and their speech therapists both said the same thing and now they you would never know,they ever had that problem to begin with!
When you first get your retainer you can't help it! Some people have a natural lisp. As for people who stutter, that can get annoying, but I bet it's even more annoying for them.
