Yes we are in a recession. The primary recession driving factor is oil prices which effects everything from food prices to cars. The other thing is the war in Iraq is sucking the health of our economy. Bush continues to print money which is the number one way to destroy an economy. We use to do it to Iraq 10 years ago (print counterfeit Iraqi money and circulate it in their economy) as a way to destroy their economy. Bush because he is an uneducated stupid *** is destroying our economy because he knows as much about economics as a 6th grader. "Oh gee..... well lets see.... we're running out of money cause our economy is weak so I will print money to pay the bills" That's what a total idiot would do and yes he is doing it!!!

Hell yes we are and I am. My state has been in a recession for four years... it's just that the rest of the country is starting to catch up a bit. I've cut way back on extraneous expenses and am taking a second job to help with college costs.

I own a retail website and I am an eBay PowerSeller. I have definately noticed a huge decrease in customers' spending. I cut back on by beer drinking budget to compensate.
