Does Chantix actually work?!
Question: I've tried everything to quit smoking and nothing seems to work. I quit cold turkey right before christmas and started up again about 2 weeks ago. I'm back at a pack a day and I hate it.
My last resort is Chantix, I've read about it a bit but I want to know if anyone has tried it and if it actually works?

I work as a medical transcriptionist and have seen lots of success with the patients that the doctors have tried on Chantix. I would say out of 25 patients it maybe didnt work for 2 or 3.
My Mom smoked 2 packs a day for over 40 years. She tried everything to quit with no luck. The doctor put her on Chantix, and she has been smoke free for the last year and a half!! I'd say it works great!! Good Luck to you! Remember, keep trying to quit, it's worth it!!
Give Chantix a try. I am sure it will be worth it. I don't smoke, but my husband does and only outside. Snow hail or storm, he has to go outside. Even the basement is off limits. You are too young to be smoking so much, young man! Ellen DeGeneres got hynotized and she says it has worked for her.
Try that if you can.
