What makes you choose a certain brand name over another?!
Question: As far as household items are concerned I tend to stick to what I like and what works. This does not apply to face creams and cosmetics as I liked to try everything. I am especially persuaded by articles in magazines and advertising when it comes to beauty products. When it comes to really expensive items like cars then I go by experience, research and recommendations

the price, which ever is cheaper
the quality of it
quality
I prefer that brand or it is cheaper.
Sex appeal
piece of mind and knowing you get what you pay for.
Some criticize me for buying myself a nice expensive computer, but have nothing to say when i state I have never had a problem with it ever.
there are a number of factors but i think brand trust is a big one.
price, ingredients, effectiveness
price, look, and less loud colors
price and quality of product.
many times I would chose a brand that I have heard about that is good and or good for you. Sometimes it doesn't matter what brand it is, just the price.
if i know that the cheaper product is just as good i go with the cheaper product, if it is not i go with whatever i have found to be better
Which ever is a better brand. I'll choose Lacoste over JC Penny for example.
Price. I have never owned a pair of Nike shoes, nor do I own an ipod. My sneakers are old, comfortable, and in great shape..but I have no idea what the company is. I got a MP3 player for my wife and paid way less than half of the equivalent ipod. Yet it does more.
Brand names mean nothing to me usually.

Where product was made.
The one I like best.
Quality...you get what you pay for...
...lower price
