I have all three colors weaved into my hair...It looks real nice...

Depends on your skin coloring and what would look best. But from personal experience (I've dyed my hair all three colors) I'd stay away from red...the color fades way too fast (red is the only dye that doesn't penetrate the hair shaft) and it tends to fade into really ugly colors. I love black but it's VERY messy if you do it yourself and alot of upkeep when it starts growing out. Depending on your natural color the other colors may not look so bad once your roots start growing out but not with black. If you're dyeing black and your roots start growing out you can see that a mile away and it's generally not pretty. My hair is naturally dark brown and that still looked bad once it started growing out.

Let me tell you....black is VERY hard to get out of your hair! VERY hard! It's taken me several months...long multi-colored giggles and pointing filled months!

It depends on where you are and what your skin tone is. I would say that red is tricky because it can come out orange. It's also hard to change to a different color after dying it red. Black is pretty easy. It would be hard to change after black, but not as hard as red. Blonde is kinda tricky too. You can go too blond and it will look white. If you are in a warm area and have a beige skin tone, I would say red. Over the summer it will lighten some which will make it easier to dye to another color. Black will be hotter during the summer. Blonde, I think, is overrated during the summer. Everyone goes blond for the summer. If you have olive skin, stay away from blond. It will make you look green. If you have pale skin, stay away from black, it will make you look even paler. If you have a ruddy skin (pinkish red skin) stay away from red, it will make you look sun burned and draw more attention to your pinkish red skin. Either way, have fun and live life to the fullest!

Don't do red, dyed red hair is rarely ever that pretty to begin with and when it fades it's going to look really ugly. I'd say black. Is your natural hair color brown? If so blonde streaks may look nice, or lighter brown streaks. But if you just want to dye the whole thing completely go with black, although it's hard to tell without knowing what you look like. You should really ask your friends or hairdresser, if you have one.

red
